Dzama valley is one of the sacred place not only for Georgian but for all Christians, up to 50 cultural heritage monuments, old and new churches-monasteries, castles, towers, outstanding historical and natural monuments – this wealth of Georgia is located in the Dzama gorge.

Dzama Valley is located in interesting geographical and natural conditions, there is no strong wind in this valley, it is a closed valley and although the altitude reaches up to 2,000 meters in some places, the natural conditions allowed this area to be densely populated.
